If I could just work all the work and work till all the work works then everything will work and once it works... STOP! Do you every just keep throwing yourself at something in the hopes that it will get done? How many times has that actually come through for you? What if you took a moment? A day, a month, or even five minutes to just breath. I want to encourage you the next time you hit a wall to stop and check in with yourself. I always hit a point when I'm memorizing lines where they wont stick any more, even if I run it just one more time. When I hit that point I know I need to go to bed. The next day after I've rested I pick up the script and I know it far better then I would have guessed. EVERY TIME! Listen to what your body is saying and take care of it. Your work wont fall apart if you take a trip to the water cooler or close your eyes and breath for five minutes... Sure sometimes pushing yourself can lead to great accomplishment. It can strengthen your body and mind for future challenges. Only you can decide that for yourself but never underestimate moments of meditation and rest. Stop and listen to yourself. You'll know what to do.
